Remove deep wrinkles from your skin and look years younger.
This laser system combines two treatments in one: It resurfaces the skin and rejuvenates collagen. This treatment may virtually eliminate deep wrinkles, photo damage, keratoses and poor skin texture in approximately 20 minutes.
How does the SmartSkin Laser work?
The SmartSkin laser uses proprietary technology called Micro Ablative technology. The skin is treated one micro portion at a time—repeated thousands of times. Each micro column receives just enough laser energy to vaporize the aged skin while also stimulating new collagen growth in the surrounding tissue. This drastically reduces healing time while still giving a deep treatment. It can penetrate more deeply than standard laser rejuvenation, resulting in more effective collagen stimulation and skin tightening.
How long does the procedure take?
Most procedures are completed in 20-45 minutes.
Is the procedure painful?
Topical anesthetic makes the procedure virtually painless. Afterwards, you may experience a mild heat sensation similar to a sunburn, itchiness and dryness in the treated area.
What is the recovery period?
Since the treatment is micro-ablative, recovery time is significantly shorter than fully ablative technology. Within the first few days of treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling with minimal pain. Each micro channel of ablation will quickly heal and you will be able to apply makeup on the treated surface and return to your normal lifestyle in as little as 2-3 days.
How many treatments will I need?
During your initial consultation, we’ll decide how many treatments will be needed to meet your aesthetic expectations. Outstanding results can be achieved in as little as one session, but will require a longer healing period than if a milder multiple treatment program is elected.
If you have a very busy schedule and do not want to be absent from work, you can choose to have several lighter treatments. Each will have virtually no downtime. Or, if you have some time to spare for recovery, you can choose to have more aggressive treatments and fewer of them.
How much does it cost?
$1,000 per treatment
