How Does BLU-U Blue Light Treatment Work?

Sebaceous glands lie just below the surface of the skin and excrete sebum, an oily substance that keeps skin healthy. The BLU-U is a narrow band blue light that can kill the p. acnes in your skin – without the use of antibiotics – and even shrink your sebaceous glands.

What Happens During The Treatment?

During treatment sessions, which last approximately 15 minutes, the patient sits comfortably while the high-intensity BLU-U light illuminates the acne.
